      Sanskrit (Devanagari):

      अर्कबाहुफलाभ्यस्ता ग्रहभुक्तिर्विभाजिता। भचक्रकलिकाभिस्तु लिप्ताः कार्या ग्रहेऽर्कवत्॥

      Translation (Burgess):

      Multiply the daily motion of the planet by the Sun's Equation of the Center and divide by 21,600; applying this result makes the motion true to the solar day.

      Modern Technical Commentary:

      Defines the 'Bhujantara' or Equation of Time. It corrects for the fact that terrestrial days are measured by the Sun's return to the meridian, which is slightly variable because the Sun's own motion is non-uniform.
