      Sanskrit (Devanagari):

      विकलानां कला षष्ट्या तत्षष्ट्या भाग उच्यते । तत्तरिंशता भवेद्राशिर्भगणो द्वादशैव ते ॥

      Translation (Burgess):

      Sixty seconds (Vikala) make a minute (Kala); sixty of these a degree (Bhaga); thirty degrees a sign (Rashi); twelve signs a revolution (Bhagana).
