    Sanskrit (Devanagari):

    कुजादीनामतः शैघ्या युग्मान्तेऽर्थाग्निदस्रकाः। गुणाग्निचन्द्राः खनगा द्विरसाक्षीणि गोऽग्नयः॥

    Translation (Burgess):

    For Mars and the rest, the Sighra-epicycles at the end of the even quadrants are 235, 133, 70, 262, and 39.

    Modern Technical Commentary:

    Defines the second large epicycle (Sighra) used for the star-planets. This epicycle accounts for the relative motion of the Earth and the planet (the 'conjunction' or synodic effect).
